Parrying

Parry window open. Timing a block now deflects the attack.

What it does

  • While you have it, a hit from within 70 degrees of where you face is parried if your weapon can parry that damage type. A parry stops twice the share a block would, skips the block's stamina cost, and knocks 20% of the attacker's maximum stamina off them.

Parry window by weapon

Raising your guard gives you stacks of Parrying. Each stack is 0.1 seconds, so the window is longer with some weapons. A shield in your off hand sets the window instead of your main hand.

Where it comes from

  • Applied when you raise your guard. Each stack is 0.1 seconds of parry window, and your weapon decides how many you get.

How it ends

  • One stack falls off every 0.1s.
  • Removed by Blocking.
  • Dying removes it.
