World events

Short jobs anyone nearby can join: clear out pests, fill a cart, run off thieves. Most start when you talk to someone who needs help; a few start on their own. Everyone who pitches in enough gets paid.

How events work

An event has one goal shared by everyone in its area, and a time limit. It ends when the goal is met or time runs out.
What you do while it runs counts as your contribution. Do enough for the full reward, or at least the half-reward amount for the smaller one.
An event that just ran waits a while before the same person will ask again.

Missing the Forest for the Herbs	Guard on a Mission	Brew 30 Forging Potions from Gaul Berries and Rhiz Root, then deliver them.	15m
The Mending Wall	Fortress Engineer	Deliver 80 Strong Beams or Steel Nails to the fortress, or hammer them into the wall yourself.	15m
Thrunk Repossession	Very Angry Woman	Defeat Buff Thrunk and deliver 45 bags of stolen goods.	15m
