Sterling Gaither parks his wagon at the Moorne Fort. Ask whether he is there for business and he answers: "Business? Absolutely. Wares? Not quite." He has bought the deed to an old mineshaft just east of the fort, abandoned for a while, and before he spends money cleaning it up he wants someone to go down and look. In A Business Adventure that someone is you, and the pay depends on how thorough you are: "The more things you find and document, the better I'll be compensating you."

Well I just recently bought the deed to an old mineshaft just East of here, been abandoned for a while and I figured I could try to see how worth it is to clean it up and turn it into a whole operation.
Ah, you're back too soon! I hate to tell you to do it, but get back in there! What am I paying ya for?
Hmm, alright, this should be fine I guess. Good to know the mines have something going on, but you really were just checking off the minimum. Minimum work for minimum pay then.
