Cassius Boone is the instructor at the Domaanziin temple in Kal Crossing. He tends the church and the cemetery behind it. If you wake in his graveyard after Adon sends you back from the estate, he is the one who finds you: "It's not every day I see someone unfamiliar who simply appears in my graveyard." When you come to see him properly, he is "most pleased to see you arrive by the door this time."

He says he walks the graveyard so often "to help keep any potential raisings in check." When you ask why the altar answers occult offerings, you call the temple "a place to worship the Domains of the Earth, Sun and World Sphere", and his best guess is that the place is "closely tied to the World Sphere that envelops our plane." He counts himself among the "Domaanziin Followers", whose tenet is "To be kind and help others."

He also knows more about occultism than a temple instructor should. He calls it "a heretic’s art", abused after it was "rediscovered a few hundred years ago", but he believes "any power can be used for good, even if it has been abused for evil in the past." In One More Thing he has you gather ichor or fragile totems and sacrifice them at the temple altar, and afterwards asks you to be discreet about it.

I was so startled I fled the scene. Now I find myself shivering in my boots at the idea of going back over there...

One must never raise the dead, what is gone is meant to stay departed…

But mind the way that the occultic arts may rot away at you... Some of those that practice will turn to darker decisions in time. But so long as you continue to hone your skills and help others, you shouldn't lose grip on the path of righteousness.
