About
Liza is the stewardess of the kingdom. The quest log sends you to "Visit Liza on the second floor of the castle", and Cassius says "She has records of all happenings in South Umbardom." Her usual greeting is "Busy, talk later." During the throne room scene in Persistence, King Wesfil tells you to "Speak to my stewardess, not me, peasant", and she pleads with him by his first name: "Please, put your trust in me, Eric. I've never steered you wrong before."
She grew up in Northgaelia, where her parents let her study their books, and she says reading and writing "gave me the legs to help this kingdom." She taught Theodore Badon "an old Umbardian song that was sung for births and funerals", and he cannot get it out of his head.
Spoilers: The Lost Artist
Liza was once the apprentice of the poet Mcgee. "I always wanted to be a painter, he saw my talents as a youth and took me under his wing as his apprentice." She left to become stewardess while the kingdom was slipping, "called to act by my childhood friend", and after their argument she believed he did not want her back. Tartiana remembers that she "would always come by the cook shop I was running out of my home and she'd order the same thing almost every day", a Small Grilled Whitefish and Cureall Tea. It was for Mcgee: "I'd eat it with him because he loved the company." In [[quest:The Lost Artist]] she finishes the painting they started together.
I always HATED this silly tea, and I don't like fish! That's why I never ask Tartiana to make it for me! Hahahah~
There is still much to do at the castle, particularly with everything going on right now… but who knows, maybe one day when the kingdom is at peace I can pick up painting again.
