Silvia Bellows

About

Silvia Bellows works the forge just south of the Kal Crossing mines, and she is married to Agneiss Bellows: she calls her "my love" and "the wifey". She teaches you to smelt and forge in One Short Lesson. She has no time for the king's jester, "with his rhyming and puns... I hate puns..."

Her forge "is unfortunately only able to get up to a certain heat due to its construction", which limits what she can work. The crown's requests are "primarily for copper and sometimes iron armor", while coal is shipped north to be refined into steel, and she says the copper and iron armor is "just getting them killed". King Wesfil, in her words, "would sooner speak to the inside of a doughnut than to me or you." Persistence is her campaign for steel armor.

She is also a keen admirer of the poet Mcgee. Phoebe Casten remembers hearing that "Sylvia is a huge fan of Mcgee's works", and she is the one who tells you who his apprentice was.
